Undersea volcanoes and volcanic openings are common features in certain areas of the ocean.
Many of them are active and most often located in shallow water. Its presence is perceived through steam jets and rock debris thrown above the surface of the sea constantly.
Others, however, remain at great depths and, due to the weight of water on them, are prevented from the formation and explosive release of vapors and gases, even when in very high proportions.
In deep water, its eruptions do not reach the surface due to pressure from the ocean.
