End of the silent cinema - 1927

The first session of a 35mm film shot with sound is presented in New York on January 21, 1927. The film was The Jazz Singer (The Jazz Singer) by Alan Crosland, starring Al Jolson and produced by Warner Bros. To date, there was only silent cinema.
