The bust of Nefertiti, the Queen of the Nile, returned to the Neues Museum, his first Berlin address, from which he had been drawn to escape World War II bombing.

It was in the Altes Museum, on the Berlin Museum Island.

This is the ninth change that supports the sculpture of Pharaoh Akenaton's wife since German archaeologists discovered her in the Amarna Valley of Egypt in 1912 and moved her to the German capital.
The piece is 3,500 years old.
